Flying Robot (Pty) Ltd is an innovative drone company based in Cape Town, South Africa. We supply drone equipment and are passionate about flying. We are designing some of the best drone electronics and components under a new brand called EchoUAS. We have already launched 8 products and looking to keep expanding our range.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechatronics Engineer at Flying Robot (Pty) Ltd located in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. This role will be responsible for designing, testing, and coming up with great ideas that change the drone industry. We’re looking for someone who wants to build quality drone electronics and sensors. Designed and built to go ANYWHERE.
This job is perfect for someone who has just finished their Mechatronics degree. Someone who worked on drones during their studies.
Qualifications
- Drones, Robotics, and UAV expertise
- Aerospace Engineering skills
- Circuit board design
- 3D modelling
- 3D printing
- Programming proficiency
- Experience in drone design, testing, and maintenance
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in field testing and troubleshooting drone systems
