KEF Robotics – Part Time Drone Pilot
KEF Robotics is working on some new and very exciting projects! To keep up with testing and demos, we are in search of a part time drone pilot to help KEF showcase our capabilities. Up to 30% travel may be required.
What you’re responsible for
- Interphase with customers to aid in hardware and software integrations
- Assist in setting and maintaining ground control points on specified locations
- Assist with flight test planning, flight readiness reviews, flight briefs/debriefs, and post-flight analysis
- Complete all required documentation as part of pre and post flight
- Perform launch and recovery tasks of aircraft which include ground operations and ground observer responsibilities
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
- Uploading of all flight operations data sets and any additional files within the same calendar date that the flight was completed
- Prepare, drive, and maintain cleanliness on our vehicle to various destinations
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company
- Other duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for

- Experience in robotics
- Exceptional interpersonal skills

- Part 107 licensed
- Experience with flying manually
- Ability to operate a small bus or van
- Comfortable with traveling

- Experience with Jira
- Flying with experimental drone platforms
- Clear, concise technical writing skills
