Songar 7.62, Developed with Sarsılmaz Silah Sanayi, Completed Its First Tests

The first test firing of the SONGAR 7.62 mm gun ammunition version, developed in cooperation with Sarsılmaz and Asisguard, has successfully completed.

SAR 15T, a domestic infantry rifle with a calibre of 7.62×39 mm, was integrated into the locally armed drone SONGAR.

For the first time, a weapon of this calibre was installed in SONGAR, where 5.56×45 mm calibre rifles were previously integrated. The firing range of 5.56×45 mm rifles is 100 meters and will be increased to 400 meters with SAR 15T. Thus, the possibility of the drone being shot by the enemy will be minimized.
