MissionGO’s Bri Gray Nominated for This Year’s Women to Watch Global Awards

International logistics leader, MissionGO is pleased to announce Assistant Program Manager for Infrastructure Inspection, Bri Gray, was nominated for the annual Women to Watch Global Awards from Women and Drones.

Marking the 5th year anniversary of the Women to Watch for the Women and Drones Global Awards, they recognize trailblazers, innovators, mentors and leaders who are making significant contributions to the unmanned aircraft system (UAS) space. The awards serve to inspire women who are driving change, shaping the drone industry, and who lead by example for younger generations of women looking to build a career in the field of UAS.

The winners were announced during the annual awards ceremony held in Las Vegas, NV on January 6.

“In a field where less than 10% of drone pilots are women, we are proud of Bri for her contributions to our team and the unmanned industry as a leader, trailblazer and disruptor,” said Frank Paskiewicz, executive vice president of cargo operations.

Gray is a certified FAA Part 107 UAS pilot on the MissionGO operations team. She serves as an instructor for the UAS Startup Program where she finds new ways to implement UAS to serve the community and support the safety of law enforcement officers – paying tribute to her previous role as a sworn officer of the Charles County Sheriff’s office in southern Maryland.

Her deep experience is utilized for public safety to help develop new unmanned aircraft tactics to prevent safety issues for law enforcement and emergency services. These UAS tactics are currently being utilized by more than 20 public safety agencies across the Eastern U.S. region.

“To have my work recognized by other leaders in my profession is a compliment to my commitment and genuinely awe-inspiring,” said Gray. “ I believe this industry can help save lives in many ways, which is a long-standing passion of mine. MissionGO provides an opportunity for me to serve the community in creative, impactful and unique ways.”
