DJI – Senior Standards Manager Germany

Responsibilities:

-Keep eye on the latest regulation and technical standards, and identify the value or impact to the business.

-Coordinate with Headquarters and surrounding colleagues to produce and submit the valuable proposal on specific standard.

-Participate in and follow up regularly the meetings of standard bodies such as ISO, EUROCAE and JARUS.

-Responsible for document review and commenting of standards development documents, including balloting and comment resolution.

-Manage and monitor the technical standard’s progress and align internally within the department.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related field, and a minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Major in aviation, communication, computer or electronics sector a plus.

-Standards development experience; formation of teams, production, materials submission, and commenting process.

-Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication (both written and oral in English) skills.

-Familiarity of aviation regulations and European standard body’s process a plus.

-Independent and self-motivated individual who is able to work on own initiative to realize size and scope of opportunities to deliver results.

-Ability to learn and develop within a fast-paced working environment.

-Able to travel occasionally.
