AUV Flight Services hiring UAS Flight Crew

AUV Flight Services is seeking talented and qualified professionals to support expanding customer test flight operations. Flight operations will be of a Test/R&D nature utilizing VTOL and fixed-wing platforms. The ideal candidate will have a background in UAS operations, manned flight experience, and customer interaction. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work independent of direct supervision and closely with customers. The candidate may be based out of AUV Flight Services headquarters in Tucson, Arizona (relocation support provided) or work remotely, with travel expectations at approximately 80%. Additionally, the candidate must be flexible enough to adapt to a schedule that incurs rapid changes and travel on short notice, based upon immediate customer requirements. Multiple positions will be filled with this announcement.

Recent graduates of a University UAS program encouraged to apply!

Basic Qualifications:

  • 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Experience with platforms utilizing the Piccolo Autopilot
  • Fixed-wing UAS experience
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Private Pilot’s License with Instrument Rating
  • FAA Class II Medical
  • Relevant Experience: 0-2 Years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in a UAS program or other professional aviation course of study
  • Advanced manned aircraft ratings
  • Experience with multiple sUAS autopilots
  • Experience with UAS maintenance and diagnosing/troubleshooting faults
  • Relevant Experience: 2-4 Years
