DJI to Showcase its Professional Aerial Camera Solutions at Salon de la Photo in Paris

DJI, the world’s leader in civilian drones and imaging technology, will be showcasing its latest flying camera innovations and image stabilisation devices, to all with a passion for photography and videography, at Paris’ Salon de la Photo from 9th-13th November.

The new DJI Zenmuse X7 camera: Cinematic vision rising.
The DJI Zenmuse X7 is a compact Super 35 camera with an integrated gimbal made for high-end filmmaking that delivers stunning resolution and image quality. Its compatibility with the Inspire 2 offers the best in next-level professional aerial cinematography. A 24 MP CMOS sensor rated at 14 stops of dynamic range preserves astonishing detail and offers both 6K CinemaDNG and 5.2K Apple ProRes with support for continuous RAW burst shooting at 20 fps and 24 MP stills.
DJI offers four prime lenses for the DL-Mount system, with focal lengths ranging from 16-50 mm and resolutions of up to 8K. Made of lightweight carbon fiber and designed by world-leading optics teams, the four lenses have been embedded with advanced technologies crafted specifically for the X7’s high-end image sensor.

The DJI Inspire 2: The flying camera with cinematic possibilities
The Inspire 2 takes everything that was good about the Inspire 1 and improves it. An all-new image processing system records at up to 5.2K in CinemaDNG RAW,Apple ProRes and more. It goes from 0 to 50mph (80kmh) in just 5 seconds and hits a maximum speed of 58mph (94kph) and has a max descent speed of 9m/sfor unheard of speed and agility in an aircraft this size. A dual battery system prolongs the flight time to a maximumof 27 minutes (with an X4S),while self-heatingtechnology allows it to fly even in low temperatures. FlightAutonomy has been revised and developed specifically for the Inspire 2, providing two directions of obstacleavoidance and sensor redundancy. Increased intelligence adds multiple intelligent flight modes, including Spotlight Pro, giving even single pilots the ability to create complex,dramatic shots. An upgraded video transmission system is now capable of dual signal frequency and dual channel, streaming video from an onboard FPV camera and the maincamera simultaneously, for better pilot and camera operator collaboration.

Discover Aerial Photography workshop, 11th November
On 11th November, DJI will host a Discover Aerial Photography workshop with experts in aerial photography to educate attendees about the latest techniques for shooting quality photos and videos.
French photographer Jérome Courtial (insta: jcourtial) will be a special guest at the event to talk about his adventures travelling the world and taking pictures of the most beautiful spots with his DJI drone.
For him, DJI products offer the possibility to catch new angles and points of view that were impossible to obtain before. His work has earned him many awards, including the best nature photo in 2017 from the Dronestagram and National Geographic contest. His photographs have also been published in prestigious newspapers such as National Geographic, GEO, Digital Photo Magazine, BBC, and CNN; as well as in DJI’s birthday book: ‘Above the World’.
This event will be held at Domaine de Saint Paul, 102 Road of Limours 78470 Saint-Rémy-Lès-Chevreuse.
