We’ve Got More Drone Advisory Commitee (DAC) Questions

Once again the sUAS News leads the way with hard-hitting and relevant stories that matter to the global unmanned system community. In this instance, we are asking FAA’s Pat McNall, Deputy Chief Counsel and RTCA President, Margaret Jenny (Drone Advisory Council Letter) for further clarification on some questions raised by the DAC article published by the WaPo 10/23/2017.  My hat is off to Michael Laris, as an article like his takes guts to write

It’s no secret that I’ve been harping on the lack of transparency and inclusiveness in the U.S. airspace integration effort. The trepidations about the lack of openness in the process in this instance appear to have come to pass. Many believe that the lack of oversight and qualified representation is coming home to roost.

We’ll be sure to keep the readership updated as the DAC story continues to unfold.
