Droneit is an early starter in the Commercial RPAS Industry, and has very quickly developed a reputable and experienced brand. Given our experience in the RPAS Industry, Droneit is looking to impart our experience and knowledge to the next generation of Remote Pilots, and are looking for a suitably qualified individual to support our entry into the Training Market. Droneit is positioned in an ever-changing and fast-moving industry with a number of exciting growth prospects.

About the Position

The Role of RPAS Training Manager is a newly created role, allowing the successful applicant to shape the future of the Program and make it their own. The Training Manager will oversee and manage a well-resourced operation, and will be given a high degree of autonomy with exciting career growth prospects. The Training Manager will be responsible for make refinements to the product, establishing suitable Learning Management Systems (LMS) and improving the lives of our students through education.

The successful applicant will receive a highly incentivised remuneration package, in line with the applicants experience.

The RPAS Training Manager will be responsible for:

Updating the Training Syllabus and Training Materials, in line with changing CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) Requirements and Industry Standards as required
Develop and Implement a Training Package for an online Learning Management System (LMS)
Upholding CASA and Droneit Standards in the conduct of Training and Assessment
Managing Staff responsible for Training and Assessment
Delivering Training, Instruction and Assessment as per the Syllabus
Making Logistical and Operational arrangements for the conduct of Training Courses
Assisting with Training Enquiries and processing Registrations

About You

Droneit is looking for a motivated and energetic individual, demonstrating initiative and drive to grow Droneit’s Training Department. As previously mentioned, the successful applicant will be given a high degree of autonomy and a well-resourced program to manage.

To ensure the successful applicant is able to maximise this opportunity, Droneit are looking for applicants with the following skills and experience:

CASA Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) or UAV Controller Certificate
Aircraft Radio Operator Certificate (AROC)
Cert IV Training and Assessment, or Principles and Methods of Instruction (Aviation)
25 Hours Flight Time in Multi-Rotor RPAS
A Background and Knowledge of the Aviation Industry
Experience in a Training Environment
