Aviassist RPAS/UAV/Drone Instructor

Established in 2008, Aviassist is a CASA certified company specialising in drone training and dedicated to providing aviation expertise to Australian Business. Aviassist is passionate about promoting safe aviation activities and increasing business efficiencies through the use of the latest technology.

Due to continued growth Aviassist Pty Ltd is looking for a professional RPAS Instructor. In this role, you will be at the forefront of commercial RPAS training and technology, in a highly dynamic and exciting environment. The role features regular travel and you will have the ability to work unsupervised, training professionals in their field, to utilise unmanned technology to increase business safety and efficiency.

When not training, the role will include business development and support. Any previous skills of interest will be fostered.

Aviassist’s head office is located in Newcastle, for the right person, the position can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane or surrounds.

Essential criteria

Genuine interest in the success of others

Professional background in aviation

Instructor rating or Principles and methods of instruction or Cert 4 in training and assessing

Prior training experience

Current Drivers Licence

Highly desirable criteria

IREX

Previous RPAS experience

First Aid Certificate

Post processing experience in survey data/photo/video
