Australian UAV Continue National Expansion with West Australian Presence

Following 12 months of considerable growth in the Eastern States of Australia and a series of national industrial survey contracts, Australian UAV Pty Ltd has announced the formal opening of a West Australian office.
Based out of Perth, Australian UAV have recruited Darryn Dow, a pioneer in the use of UAV’s in mine survey. With over 20 years of experience as a ‘Mine and Engineering Surveyor’ across Australia, Asia and Africa. Darryn will bring his considerable expertise to the business and build upon Australian UAVs reputation in the delivery of unmanned aerial inspection and survey services.
For the past 18 months Darryn has been integrating UAV survey techniques into mines in West Africa before which he was the Chief UAV Pilot and Maintenance Controller for Territory Iron, the first mining company in Australia to receive a UAV Operators Certificate.

Established in Victoria in early 2013, Australian UAV has been rapidly growing. With this West Australian expansion Australian UAV now operates out of seven locations.
The company was founded by experienced consulting professionals with a focus on safety, reliable service and high quality results. Australian UAV’s core business is based on low cost rapid turnaround aerial survey, inspection and mapping data, but the company is also well qualified for general aerial filming and special projects.
