MetaVR has posted a video of a new real-time scenario that takes place on 3D geospecific synthetic terrain built with 2cm per-pixel resolution aerial imagery collected in early 2015 with the company’s remote-controlled aircraft, the MetaVRC.
This new 2 cm geospecific 3D terrain is of two target ranges at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon Range Training Complex, Nevada. The total area of coverage of this terrain data set is 65.81 sq km.
The portable aircraft and the real-time scenario shown in the video were on display in MetaVR’s booth at I/ITSEC 2015.
