Unmanned Experts completes training for South African Civil Aviation Authority Inspectors

SACAA-Attendees

Over a 10 day period in June 2015, the lead Air Safety Inspectors for the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) undertook a series of UAS training events run by Unmanned Experts Inc. and their UK partner Inzpire Ltd.

The courseware consisted of a comprehensive 3-day ground school based on their UAS Foundation Course and then 7 days of intensive ground and flight training from Unmanned Experts’ Be Flight Ready Academy program.

Despite one ‘incomplete’ (due to swine flu, so I think they can be forgiven, and they are already booked on the next course!), the class was a tremendous success and the Inspectors are already using the skill sets since the SACAA published theirRemotely Piloted Aircraft System Regulations on 1st July of this year. Unmanned Experts is coordinating future dates and locations for both the SACAA personnel and to provide ATO-training in South Africa.

For those interested in gaining the same level of instruction please feel free to visit theBeFlightReady website. Upcoming classes are scheduled for Denver, Colorado (beginning on July 24), Seattle, Washington (beginning on August 21) and New York, New York (beginning on September 25).
