Zhang Ziyi, of ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’, gets proposed to with a drone
BEIJING, Feb. 8 (UPI) — Zhang Ziyi, the actress known from the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and other films, was recently proposed to using a drone.
Zhang was celebrating her 36th birthday party, when her partner, Chinese musician Wang Feng, sent a white drone carrying a 9.15 carat diamond ring in a basket. He then proceeded to get on one knee and propose.
Zhang accepted the proposal and cried.
“We have experienced sweet times and bitter times in the spotlight,” Wang reportedly said. “I wish Ziyi would be happy forever. And I hope that I am allowed the chance to take care of you when we both are old.”
Zhang is also known for her roles in films like Memoirs of a Geisha and House of Flying Daggers
