FerCam 2014 Gold Medal Innovation Prize for Grupo Acre

Acre Surveying Solutions, our distribution partner for Spain and Portugal, has won the Gold Award For Technological Innovation of the 54th FerCam Agricultural Show in Spain. Acre is showing the Aibotix X6 with TetraCam Multispectral Camera and EnsoMosaic – a software for crop treatment, irrigation, pest control and aerial mapping for farmers, developed by MosicMill.

The jury honored the possibilities offered by the Aibot X6-solution for precision agriculture, since it generates near real-time images of a particular area, indication whether the plants are healthy. With its multispectral camera, valuable data can be retrieved for agribusiness, showing e.g. the normalized vegetation indices (NDVI) to determine if plants are suffering water stress or assess the effect of fertilizer treatments.
