HELImetrex and QuestUAV team up

HELImetrex (Australia) and QuestUAV (UK) are proud to announce a forthcoming relationship to provide QuestUAV’s new range of fixed wing sUAV products in Australia.  HELImetrex are a long established company supplying UAV Aerial surveys and was the first UAV operator in Australia in 2002.

QuestUAV are a dedicated UK sUAV fixed wing manufacturer that have operations and equipment in 22 countries around the world. Their most recent development is the Q-Pod; a robust, modular EPP based UAV that allows rapid switching between a variety of sensors. 

This exciting development will allow prospective customers in the Australia mining and survey companies to enjoy the unique benefits of long range, large area surveys with a device that can quickly switch between sensors AND have a parachute landing option. The Q-Pod products compete strongly with the likes of the Trimble Gatewing and Sensefly Ebee and brings a very competent and robust contender to the continent.  HELImetrex will be providing full support and training for the Q-Pod products at their base near Brisbane within three months.
