RFEL debuts HALO video processing solution for UAV surveillance applications

NEWPORT, Isle of Wight, U.K. RFEL, a provider of high-performance, electronic video and signal processing solutions, is launching its HALO low-power, real-time, video processing tool for image-based surveillance in counterterrorism, defense, and security applications.

Potential applications include: fixed and mobile installations for covert CCTV monitoring and surveillance and unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs), creating demand for imaging in the infrared (IR), and the use of adaptive contrast enhancement to combat poor imagery in challenging lighting conditions.
