DARPA UAVForge Fly-Off Location Announced

Fort Stewart, Georgia has been announced as the UAVForge Competition’s Fly-Off venue, where the 10 finalist teams will demonstrate their systems live. No specific date has been announced yet, but the organisers have stated that the event will take place around the middle of May this year.

Fort Stewart is home to the US Army’s 3^rd Infantry Division. The military reservation spans 1 100 km², or 280 000 acres, and is the largest Army installation in the Eastern United States.
