UMS selects EasyPilot from Instrument Control, Sweden to provide the autopilot for CT-450

After considerable efforts in identifying a suitable autopilot system for the CT-450 Discover I Tactical Unmanned Air System, UMS is delighted to announce an agreement with Instrument Control, Sweden to supply the class leading EasyPilot.

Instrument Control Sweden is a R&D company with products originating from Swedish Defense Materiel Administration development projects.

The EasyPilot hardware consists of COTS components and includes integrated components necessary to control a vehicle, including GPS navigation, a long range modem, expansion ports. The on-board software has several mathematical algorithms integrated, allowing it to make much better use of its sensors and the data it collects for a safer and more efficient flight.
