Selex Galileo upgrade Falco

Named  Evolution, the extended-wing version will improve endurance, payload and altitude parameters, according to Selex Galileo CEO Fabrizio Giualianini.

The UAS wingspan would increase from 7.2m to 12.5m, allowing payload capacity to be increased from 60kg to 100kg plus as well as an endurance extension from 14 hours up to 18.

Also integrated on the Falco EVO is PicoSAR, a compact and lightweight Active Electronic Scanned Array (AESA) radar, the ESM/ ELINT system SAGE and the EO turret EOST 46.

The Falco is a tactical UAV System, designed and  manufactured by SELEX GALILEO to supply Command  and Control net-centers with a tactical overview of the  operational scenario and target cueing in real time
