Scam Eagles

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Looking strikingly like an Insitu Scaneagle, Polish company Pimco unveiled their newest offering at the 18th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO, Kielce Poland today. The layout of the Scaneagle is obviously a winner as there is more than one rival out there. The Nietoperz is the closest yet!

Second place currently belongs to Aeroland and their AL 20.

No doubt a little more searching would find more. Its interesting as Boeing has been known to call for the halt of hobby versions of the Scaneagle and politely ask any one contemplating constructing and selling their own versions to stop. I wonder when this particular flying wing plan form ceases to be a Scaneagle and starts being a design in its own right.
