bizUAS gives power line inspection demonstrations

bizUAS was selected as one of only six teams across North America to give an extensive live presentation on the inspection of energized 345kV power structures to representatives of the North American electric power industry. They successfully completed the missions last week.

With the help of partners, Unmanned Experts and Cyberhawk, the world-leader in drone-based industrial inspections, they demonstrated the impressive performance of service-drone UAS and shortly will deliver the results in iHawk, Cyberhawk’s industry-leading, cloud-based asset management software.

Besides power mast inspections, iHawk is ideal for documenting most any series of vertical structures, incl. wind turbines, cell towers, … and also can be used for solar power plants.

Stay tuned for more news from bizUAS. They were recently hired by a large energy utility company to demonstrate feasibility of UAS photogrammetry and inspection of several of their assets across the state.
